What We’re Reading
Part of our jobs as the marketing team at StyleBistro is to peruse (and yes, sometimes pour over) fashion, home, and lifestyle websites. And we have to admit – it’s a pretty fun task. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite style blogs that bring a little bit of pretty to us everyday.
Luella & June
Luella & June’s hot pink and burnt orange logo was what originally drew our attention, but it’s the airy home interiors, eclectic, girly fashion, and love for color from Dallas natives Alison Gross and Bradley Agather that keeps them on our morning Top 10 reading list.
Taylor Sterling, brain(ess) behind The Glitter Guide gives us a close-and-personal peek into her glittery, light-hearted life on her personal style blog, Sterling Style. It’s full of pretty accessories, gems, and the lithe blonde’s date-night outfits (that always happen to look like she’s off to the ballet.) We love that Taylor shares small details of her everyday life, even when it’s Instagram pictures of swedish fish or self-portraits of her shoes.
Bella Maison 23
Julie Thigpen, an interior designer by way of Orange County, keeps us inspired (and pinning a lot of beautiful rooms) with her daily dose of chic home decor images on Belle Maison. She frames each post as a home design moment like “whimsical wallpapers” or “enviable closets.” Thigpien has a knack for finding new Etsy products and sprinkles in fun DIY projects here and there. Also, we adore her little chandelier logo.
This is Glamorous
When travel meets style, the mind can wander for hours. And that’s what happens when you stumble across This is Glamorous. Roseline Lohr (yes, her name is as sweetly Parisian chic as the site itself) has a knack for breathtaking glossy images. Her blog posts feels like a worldwide tour of all things lovely and whimsical. Enough said.
Our friend Anh over at 9to5Chic isn’t being cute with her blog’s title. She works an office job in marketing from 9 to 5 and finds time to sneak out for a mini photo shoot in her always feminine, flirty yet timeless outfits. She wears tailored coats or trouser pants with a certain fearlessness that we just adore. And her looks always include a healthy mix of designer pieces and wallet-friendly finds.
